The 22nd edition of the Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition (ADIHEX) has opened its doors, marking its largest-ever showcase to date. Backed by strong leadership support and featuring global participation, the event underscores the UAE’s commitment to cultural preservation, sustainable practices, and modern innovation across hunting, equestrian and outdoor sectors.

Record breaking scale and global reach

ADIHEX 2025, officially inaugurated on August 30 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC), is running until September 7. Organised by ADNEC Group, a subsidiary of Modon Holding, in collaboration with the Emirates Falconers’ Club, this year’s edition has reached an unprecedented scale.

  • Total space: 92,000 square metres
  • Participating countries: 68
  • Total sectors represented: 15
  • Duration: 9 days

The exhibition has grown into the largest annual event of its kind in the Middle East and Africa, drawing participants and brands from across the globe. It unites local and international exhibitors from industries including hunting, equestrian sports, camping, marine activities, safari tourism, falconry, and traditional arts and crafts.

Leadership endorsement and national significance

The event is held under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler’s Representative in Al Dhafra Region and Chairman of the Emirates Falconers’ Club. It has received high-profile visits and commendations from national leadership. On the opening day, H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defence, and Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai, toured the exhibition. He was accompanied by Humaid Matar Al Dhaheri, Managing Director and Group CEO of ADNEC Group.During his visit, Sheikh Hamdan explored key pavilions such as:

  • Caracal pavilion by EDGE Group
  • Al Ghadeer Crafts pavilion by Emirates Red Crescent

He engaged with exhibitors, reviewed new products and heritage projects, and was briefed on various national initiatives and cultural programs featured at the event.Sheikh Hamdan remarked that ADIHEX is more than a sporting or cultural occasion — it is a platform that reflects the UAE’s legacy, encourages youth creativity, and promotes sustainability. He described the exhibition as a bridge connecting heritage with modernity, and tradition with innovation, reinforcing the UAE’s global role in these domains.

Cultural heritage and interactive experiences

True to its core mission, ADIHEX 2025 champions the celebration and preservation of Emirati cultural traditions. Visitors can explore live demonstrations, workshops, and displays tied to the UAE’s deep-rooted customs. Key highlights include:

  • Falconry showcases
  • Camel racing exhibitions
  • Saluki hunting demonstration
  • Horse riding events
  • Workshops on traditional etiquette and practices

These immersive experiences are designed not only to entertain but also to educate attendees, especially the younger generation — about the values and lifestyles inherited from the nation’s forefathers.

Innovation, collaboration, and sectoral growth

Beyond heritage, ADIHEX acts as a commercial and strategic platform, connecting industry stakeholders from multiple sectors. Companies and innovators in hunting gear, equestrian equipment, sustainable outdoor technologies, and cultural conservation present their latest offerings. With its diverse international representation and sectoral depth, the event is positioned as a space for:

  • Business partnerships
  • Technology and product launches
  • Networking across markets
  • Sustainability-focused dialogue

Exhibitors and experts alike view ADIHEX as a benchmark event that fosters growth, collaboration and forward-looking solutions in traditionally rooted industries.
