New Delhi: Designer Kunal Rawal has opened his first flagship store in Kolkata, marking his entry into the eastern market, it said in a press release recently.
The store is located in a heritage bungalow on Ballygunge Circular Road and adds to his existing outlets in Mumbai, Delhi and Hyderabad.
The Kolkata store has been designed with architect Rooshad Shroff.
Sharing his thoughts, Rawal said, “For us, this store is a natural extension of our design philosophy, it’s warm, multi-functional, and deeply rooted in craft. Kolkata has long been on my mind for its incredible heritage and appreciation for detail. We’re excited to bring our world here and connect with a city that values tradition and creativity in equal measure, it’s truly a sensory experience.”
Along with the store launch, Rawal also introduced his new collection, World of KR, which includes lighter fabrics, layered styles, customisable embroidery, footwear and accessories, aimed at offering versatile festive and occasion wear.
