Legal professionals, scholars, and technology experts will gather in Riyadh on September 28–29, 2025, for the seventh Saudi Law Conference, which will examine how legal systems must evolve to respond to the growing influence of artificial intelligence, digital transformation, and sustainability. The event aims to align Saudi Arabia’s legal frameworks with the ambitious goals of Vision 2030, offering a platform for reform, collaboration, and leadership in modern legislative development.

Saudi’s vision 2030 and legal transformation

The Saudi Law Conference has become a key event in the Kingdom’s broader efforts to modernize its legal system in line with Vision 2030, the national initiative driving economic and institutional reform. The seventh edition of the conference will focus on the role of technology, AI, and environmental considerations in shaping legal frameworks of the future.Dr. Walid bin Mohammed Al-Samaani, Minister of Justice, President of the Supreme Judicial Council, and Chairman of the Saudi Bar Association, will lead the opening session. His involvement highlights the strategic importance of keeping the Kingdom’s legal structures responsive to fast-moving global changes, while encouraging deeper collaboration across legal, academic, and professional institutions to support legislative development.The conference is positioned as a strategic milestone in Saudi Arabia’s journey to develop a transparent, efficient, and forward-thinking legal environment. It will also serve to underscore the country’s commitment to becoming a regional and international hub for legal innovation.

Addressing the legal impact of AI, data, and sustainability

Held under the theme “The Future of Legal Systems in the Age of Technology, Artificial Intelligence, and Sustainability,” the 2025 conference will feature specialized panels and workshops aimed at tackling the complex legal questions emerging from rapid technological advancements and environmental imperatives.Attendees will include:
