France’s newly appointed Prime Minister Sébastien Lecornu resigned on Monday, just hours after unveiling his cabinet, the presidency confirmed. Lecornu had spent only 2 weeks in the office.The move comes amid growing political instability and challenges in securing broad support for President Emmanuel Macron’s government.Lecornu was Macron’s seventh prime minister since 2022 and had been tasked with forming a government capable of navigating a divided parliament.
