Saudi Arabia has appointed Sheikh Saleh bin Fawzan bin Abdullah Al-Fawzan as its new Grand Mufti, the highest religious position in the Kingdom, succeeding the late Sheikh Abdulaziz Al-Sheikh who passed away in September.
