The new trains will run on the Varanasi-Khajuraho, Lucknow-Saharanpur, Firozpur-Delhi, and Ernakulam-Bengaluru routes, boosting regional connectivity and cutting travel time. Speaking at Banaras Railway Station, PM Modi said Vande Bharat and Namo Bharat represent the new face of Indian Railways, fast, efficient, and world-class. With these additions, India now operates more than 160 Vande Bharat trains, reflecting the government’s mission to make the country’s rail network one of the most advanced in the world.
