Oliveira called for abolishing the H-1B program and asked for more investment in American youth instead of foreigners. He said America landed on the moon 20 years before the H-1B program even existed, hence America does not need foreign talent. Tyler made several anti-India comments during the release of his cow dung festival documentary and claimed that he and his family members were attacked by Indians on social media.The H-1B comment came amid a major row over President Donald Trump’s statement that America needs “certain” foreign talent.“Certain talents are not available to you. People have to learn them. You can’t take people receiving unemployment benefits and put them to work in a missile factory. Talent must be brought in,” Trump said. “There were Koreans there who had been making batteries their entire lives. Making batteries is very complex and not easy. It’s highly dangerous, with frequent explosions and many problems. They planned to bring in about 500 to 600 people in the initial phase to make batteries and teach others how to do it. But they tried to deport them. You would need such people too,” Trump said, giving an example of what he meant by “certain” talent.
