‘Grow Together’: In Parting Speech, Putin Adopts PM Modi’s ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas’ Mantra

Ending his India visit with symbolism and strategic depth, President Vladimir Putin invoked PM Modi’s development mantra, saying India’s “go together, grow together” philosophy reflects the foundations of Russia-India relations. Speaking at the state banquet hosted by President Droupadi Murmu, Putin praised decades of cooperation, from Soviet-era industrial support to present-day collaboration across politics, security, transport, energy, and culture. He stressed that the relationship is rooted in equality and mutual respect, calling recent meetings with Indian leadership highly productive. Putin reaffirmed Moscow’s commitment to joint work in global forums, supporting a multipolar world anchored in the UN and balanced interests. Celebrating 15 years of the Special and Privileged Strategic Partnership, he expressed confidence that new agreements will boost connectivity, economic synergy, and peace across Eurasia ahead of India’s BRICS presidency in 2026.
