Surrounded by his security team holding up umbrellas to shield him from the paparazzi, the actor made his way to the recording studio, sparking a fresh wave of excitement among fans amid the growing buzz around his upcoming film ‘King’.

In the viral photos and videos, Shah Rukh was seen dressed in a fitted white tee and cargo pants with a beanie on his head. He was also seen rocking shades as he made his way into the studio. While there has been no official confirmation on what the actor was recording, but the timing of the appearance has led fans to believe that he may have been working on a post-production clip for his upcoming film, ‘King’.

Shah Rukh released the first look of his film in November, on the occasion of his birthday, while there has been no update since, fans have been speculating online if the next big announcement of the film could come on New Year’s day. A day before SRK was spotted at the studios, director Siddharth Anand shared a photo of a chess piece of a lion with a crown on his head. This led fans to speculate, “Sid anand ki story phir srk dubbing studio mein…..1st Jan ko release date shaayad announce karenge motion poster ke saath.”
‘King’ to dominate the box office
‘King’ is already being dubbed as one of the biggest movies to hit the big screen in 2026 with early trends suggesting that it will surpass the Rs 1,000 crore mark at the box office. This would make it SRK’s third entry in the elite club, after ‘Jawan’ and ‘Pathaan’. The film has already generated massive buzz thanks to its ensemble cast featuring Suhana Khan, Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Rani Mukerji and many others.
