Timex Group India (TGIL) reported a 30 per cent year on-year increase in revenue for the first quarter of FY27, driven by premiumisation, new product launches and strong growth across its distribution channels.

The watchmaker posted revenue of Rs 218 crore during the quarter, while EBITDA rose 63 per cent year-on-year to Rs 35.8 crore, with margins expanding to 16.3 per cent. Profit before tax (PBT) increased 70 per cent to Rs 33.8 crore, taking the PBT margin to 15.4 per cent.

The company attributed the performance to stronger demand across its flagship and premium brands, improved channel productivity and continued investments in brand building.

Deepak Chhabra, managing director, Timex Group India, said, “This quarter marks another strong step forward in Timex Group India’s growth journey. Our focus on premiumisation, portfolio expansion and sharper channel execution is driving stronger traction and improved profitability. We are seeing consistent momentum across fashion and luxury watch segments, led by rising aspiration, design-led innovation and growing consumer preference across markets.”

He added, “As we move into the festive season, we remain focused on scaling with intent, investing in brand salience and deepening presence across channels. With profitability growing faster than revenue, we are confident of building high-quality growth in India’s evolving watch market.”

Among sales channels, e-commerce recorded 67 per cent growth, while the company’s largest trade channel grew 51 per cent, supported by higher retail productivity and wider market penetration. The company also reported growing traction in the quick commerce channel as it expanded its presence through dark stores.

Within its brand portfolio, Timex posted 42 per cent growth, driven by demand for its global collections and premium offerings, while Guess recorded 74 per cent growth, supported by new product launches and design-led collections. The company said brands such as Aston Martin also continued to gain traction following their India launch.

During the quarter, Timex expanded its premium Timex Atelier collection with a new Chronograph Series and introduced collaborations with brands including Todd Snyder, J.Crew and Supergirl. The company also received the ET Edge Best Workplace 2026 recognition during the quarter.
