Mumbai: Ali Ahmed, an Indian entrepreneur with interests in infrastructure, hospitality, and sports, has continued to expand his business activities across multiple sectors. With an educational background in engineering and management, he has been involved in business development for over two decades.
Ahmed is the founder of Montag Infrastructure, a company engaged in infrastructure and real estate development. The company has undertaken residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects in locations including Mumbai, Karjat, Hyderabad, and Gujarat. It has also diversified into hospitality and related business ventures.
Entrepreneur Ali Ahmed expanded his business interests in infrastructure and hospitality via Montag Infrastructure, and founded the Mumbay FC football club in 2024, participating in the Durand Cup and meeting President Droupadi Murmu.
In 2024, Ahmed established Mumbay FC, a Mumbai-based football club. The club was founded with an emphasis on grassroots football and youth development. During its early phase, Mumbay FC participated in the Durand Cup, one of India’s oldest football tournaments, marking its involvement in national-level competition.
As part of the tournament’s official events, Ahmed attended the Durand Cup Flag Off Ceremony at Rashtrapati Bhavan, where he was present alongside other participants and met the President of India, Droupadi Murmu.
Apart from football, Ahmed’s professional engagements continue to include infrastructure, real estate, hospitality, and business development. His work spans multiple sectors, reflecting a diversified business portfolio while also supporting the growth of sports initiatives through Mumbay FC.
