Activewear brand TechnoSport has signed an MoU with the Government of Tamil Nadu to invest Rs 130 crore in the Phase 2 expansion of its manufacturing facility in Erode.
The expansion will focus on increasing functional activewear manufacturing capacity and is expected to generate 500+ jobs in the region. The company plans to increase its activewear fabric manufacturing capacity from 25 tonnes per day to 40 tonnes per day by the end of FY27.

The brand currently reaches consumers through 16,000+ retail touchpoints across 20+ states, supported by 40+ super stockists and 66+ exclusive brand outlets. It plans to increase its EBO network to around 130 stores by FY27, along with 25 TechnoSport Express stores.
TechnoSport closed FY26 with approximately Rs 600 crore in revenue and is targeting Rs 1,000 crore in FY27. The company sells more than 25 million units annually, with manufacturing investments forming a key part of its expansion strategy.
