Irumudi Box Office Collection Day 4: Irumudi continued its theatrical run on Monday, August 24, recording an India net collection of ₹11.90 crore on Day 4, according to box-office tracking site Sacnilk. The Telugu film, which stars Ravi Teja in the lead role, has now collected ₹62.40 crore net in India after four days.
Released on August 21, the Shiva Nirvana directorial had a stronger first weekend, with collections increasing through Sunday before dropping on the first working day. The film opened with ₹15.30 crore on Friday, followed by ₹16.20 crore on Saturday and ₹19 crore on Sunday. Its Monday collection fell to ₹11.90 crore, representing a 37.4% decline from Sunday’s ₹19 crore net collection.
The Day 4 figure was recorded across 2,733 shows, with the reported overall occupancy standing at 66.5%. On Sunday, the film recorded an occupancy of 85.5% across 3,078 shows. The Monday figures therefore show a noticeable reduction in both audience turnout and daily earnings after the weekend.
The film’s India gross collection has reached ₹72.50 crore after four days. Overseas earnings have added another ₹1.50 crore on Day 4, taking the cumulative overseas gross to ₹15 crore. Combining the reported India and overseas gross figures, Irumudi has reached a worldwide gross of ₹87.50 crore.
The Day 4 language-wise figures were led by the Telugu version. The Telugu release recorded an estimated ₹11.87 crore net in India from 2,658 shows, with occupancy reported at 68%. The Tamil version contributed approximately ₹3 lakh from 75 shows, with occupancy at 14%.
Irumudi: Story, Cast And Crew
Irumudi follows a troubled auto driver and small-business owner whose past is marked by alcohol dependence and violence. He lives with his young daughter, and her request to undertake an Ayyappa Deeksha pilgrimage becomes the starting point for a difficult personal journey. The story deals with themes of redemption, trust, family and the protagonist’s efforts to protect the people around him.
Ravi Teja leads the cast, with Priya Bhavani Shankar, Sai Kumar and Baby Nakshathra also playing key roles. The film is directed by Shiva Nirvana and produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y. Ravi Shankar under Mythri Movie Makers. T-Series Films presents the film.
G. V. Prakash Kumar has composed the music, while Vishnu Sharma is the cinematographer and Prawin Pudi serves as the editor. The action choreography is handled by Ram Lakshman and Real Sathish, with Sahi Suresh responsible for production design.
The film’s Day 5 run is currently underway on Tuesday, August 25. Today’s figures will offer a further indication of how the film performs after the first weekend and the initial Monday drop.
