The action entertainer, directed by Adhik Ravichandran, is now said to have ‘Marco’ actor Unni Mukundan joining the project in an important role. This development follows reports that Mohanlal, who was earlier linked to the film, may no longer be part of the cast. However, the makers have yet to officially confirm the reported change.

According to a report from The Variety India, Unni Mukundan is expected to step into the role reportedly planned for Mohanlal. If confirmed, this will be the first time Ajith and Unni Mukundan appear together on screen, while also bringing another Malayalam actor into the Tamil project. The complete cast of ‘Dare Devil’ is still under wraps, with reports also suggesting that discussions are taking place with Kannada stars Kichcha Sudeepa and Upendra for important roles.
