I cannot stay calm as Bakaiti Season 2 will be loaded with excitement, comedy, chaos and family drama, as hinted by Sheeba Chaddha aka Sushma Kataria.
In an exclusive conversation with Filmibeat Assistant Editor Abhishek Ranjit over a Zoom call, Sheeba Chaddha shared what the viewers can expect from Bakaiti Season 2. She hinted at a bigger family drama in the second season with new entrants and chaos in the hit series.
The Badhai Ho actress also spoke about the factors she considers before saying yes to a project and her much-talked-about role as Manthara in Ramayana.
Sheeba Chaddha On Bakaiti Season 2 Twist
Talking about returning to Bakaiti and the positive phase in her career, Sheeba Chaddha said that she feels genuinely grateful that good work is coming her way.
“It’s just nice when stuff like this happens. I don’t know what to say. It’s just really good, very gratifying that good work is coming. It’s just a good feeling, yeah. And I’m just genuinely really grateful for it, truly,” she told Filmibeat.
When asked what viewers can expect from the second season, Sheeba revealed that the story will evolve further while also introducing new faces.
“I don’t want to put out spoilers like that, but you will see progress or evolution in the story. There are some new entrants. New entrants in the sense that the house is more populated this time, interestingly. How and why that happens, you’ll see,” the Mirzapur actress shared.
She added, “I think a lot more stuff is unpacked this time, lots more. So, yeah, you’ll see new people to look into the story. There will be new entrants, more chaos and family drama in the second season.”
Who Is Biggest Bakaiti Person In Sheeba Chaddha’s Life?
When asked a more personal question about who the biggest ‘Bakaiti’ person in her life is, Sheeba chose not to reveal any names, laughing it off with a simple, “I am not going to go there. That’s personal.”
Bakaiti season 2 will be available for streaming from September 25 on ZEE5.
