This Valentine’s Day, Meghan Markle shared a very romantic post on social media shortly after expressing sentiments about missing Prince Harry, who remains over 1,000 miles away busy with the Invictus games.
The dutch and duchess left the Royal family and its responsibilities in 2020 to reside in the £12 million (over Rs 1.3 billion). Meghan Markle, in her post, shared the footage of their babies Archie, five, and Lilibet preparing Valentine’s Day confections.
This follows her public displays of affection with Harry at the Vancouver Invictus games last week, where they were seen embracing, amid the divorce rumors.
In this recent display, the former actress offers glimpses of domestic life, baking with her children whilst their father spends Valentine’s Day in Canada.
The Duchess of Sussex shared an Instagram photograph of herself kissing Harry, following a similar post by the Prince and Princess of Wales.
Her caption read: “Back home taking care of our babies, and missing my Valentine, as he continues on at the Invictus Games, changing lives and reminding all of us of the power of healing and resilience through these incredible veterans and their families. Beyond proud of my husband and what he’s created. My love, I will eat burgers & fries and fish & chips with you forever. Thank you for you.”
She signed with “M” and included #lovewins, a phrase associated with LGBTQ+ relationships.
Harry remains in Canada until Sunday’s closing ceremony of the tournament for injured service personnel and veterans.
After his wife’s departure, the prince reportedly took time to rest before continuing with scheduled events alone.
Sources indicate this arrangement was predetermined, citing security considerations. A representative explained Meghan’s return was planned to reunite with their children.
The Prince and Princess of Wales shared their inaugural Valentine’s Day post earlier.
Their social media accounts featured an intimate photograph from Kate’s September video announcement about completing chemotherapy, showing Prince William embracing her at the Sandringham Estate in Norfolk, where they spent their summer.
