Friendly plane wave to Iran: Trump says all Israel jets to turn around and head home - what does it mean?

US President Donald Trump on Tuesday assured that Israel “is not going to attack” Iran after both nations violated ceasefire terms by carrying out attacks against each other after an early Tuesday deadline to stop hostilities. Taking to Truth Social, he said in a post that Israel will “turn around” its jets, while doing a friendly “Plane Wave” to Iran. “Nobody will be hurt, the Ceasefire is in effect!” the US president added.Trump’s comment comes shortly after he told reporters at the White House that he was “really unhappy” with Israel for breaking the deal.“They violated it, but Israel violated it, too,” Trump said. He added, “I’m not happy with Israel.”“I didn’t like the fact that Israel unloaded right after we made the deal,” Trump said. “And now I hear Israel just went out because they felt violated by one rocket that didn’t land anywhere.”In another post, Trump said that Iran “will never rebuild their nuclear facilities.” Meanwhile, after ceasefire announcement, Iran’s government said that it had “taken the necessary measures” to ensure the continuation of its nuclear programme after US and Israeli strikes targeted its facilities.Mohammad Eslami, head of the Atomic Energy Organisation of Iran, in a statement, said, “We have taken the necessary measures and are taking stock of the damage” caused by the strikes. “Plans for restarting (the facilities) have been prepared in advance, and our strategy is to ensure that production and services are not disrupted,” he added.Iran’s foreign minister Abbas Araghchi confirmed that Tehran would stop its attacks if Israel halted its operations, a gesture echoed by Israeli officials who said their military had “achieved operational objectives” and was ready to pause hostilities.Yet hours later, sirens wailed across northern Israel and explosions rang out after Israeli forces accused Iran of firing missiles into its airspace. Two of the missiles were reportedly intercepted, an Israeli military official confirmed.
