Idaho shooter Wess Roley was living out of his car, made chilling social media post hours before deadly ambush
Idaho shooter Wess Roley was living out of his car, police said.

20-year-old Wess Roley who started a fire in Idaho to lure firefighters and then killed two and injured one was living out of his car for quite some time, police revealed. He was later found dead in the same fire site but it was from self-inflicted wound. Roley arrived in the Coeur d’Alene area sometime in 24 and interacted with police at least five times. Those interactions were mostly because people reported to the police that Roley parked his car on their property. There were welfare checks as well on him. It is not known why he was not staying with his family, while reports said he went on a vacation in Hawaii with his mother. Before coming to Idaho, Roley stayed in California and Arizona and had no criminal record anywhere.Roley’s vehicle was found at the site but it has not yet been searched. Authorities do not believe he left any manifesto as he has no ties with any terror group. Before killing the two firefighters, Roley spoke with them when they asked him about the vehicle. It was that moment that Roley started firing on them.

Chilling post announcing ‘I’m going hunting’ hours before deadly ambush

Wess Roley posted a chilling online photo of himself masked in camouflage with a belt of rifle shells, along with a Bjork song with lyrics ominously warning, “I’m going hunting’’ — just hours before his deadly ambush, officials said. The post is now deleted. More than 300 law enforcement officers from various agencies responded once the shots started and spent hours trying to neutralize Roley. His abandoned car was even rolled off a mountain ledge to prevent him from escaping, while fire engine tires were deflated to keep him from stealing one and slipping away — before his body was found. Roley’s parents came under massive attack for their faulty parenting as their MAGA links also came on the radar. Court documents revealed the tumultuous childhood Roley had as his parents divorced when he was 10. And it was an acrimonious one in which his mother complained that his father threatened to burn down her house.
