New Delhi: Pepe Jeans London has appointed Rakesh Jallipally as the chief executive officer for its India business, as the company looks to sharpen its focus on operational and strategic growth in one of its key markets, it announced in a media release on Friday.

Jallipally has over 18 years of experience across the fashion, retail, and consumer tech sectors. Prior to joining Pepe Jeans, he was vice president at Flipkart, where he was responsible for launching and expanding the Gen Z-focused fashion platform Spoyl and managing the men’s fashion segment.

He was earlier involved in the launch of AZORTE at Reliance Retail and held senior leadership roles at Arvind Fashions, including CEO and COO positions for brands such as USPA and Flying Machine. He began his career at Raymond, overseeing retail operations in South India.
