FBI deputy director Dan Bongino, who had a major fallout with Attorney General Pam Bondi over the Epstein case, so much so that he was on the verge of resigning, made an explosive claim on social media Saturday. The post was his regular one, updating everyone about what the FBI did in the last few days but the strong words that he used triggered off speculations that Kash Patel and Bongino might have come across something major about corruption and political weaponization of government agencies. “I’ll never be the same after learning what I’ve learned,” Dan Bongino wrote in his post. “The Director and I are committed to stamping out public corruption and the political weaponization of both law enforcement and intelligence operations. It is a priority for us. But what I have learned in the course of our properly predicated and necessary investigations into these aforementioned matters, has shocked me down to my core. We cannot run a Republic like this. I’ll never be the same after learning what I’ve learned,” he wrote.“We are going to conduct these righteous and proper investigations by the book and in accordance with the law. We are going to get the answers WE ALL DESERVE. As with any investigation, I cannot predict where it will land, but I can promise you an honest and dignified effort at truth. Not “my truth,” or “your truth,” but THE TRUTH,” he added. Bongino added fuel to speculations as he did not mention anything specific. But it was clear to his followers that he was not resigning from the post. Since Bongino’s fight with Pam Bondi over the Epstein case, the case has taken a new turn with as the administration engaged with Ghislaine Maxwell, Epstein’s former girlfriend, who was convicted of sex trafficking. New revelations have been claimed over Trump’s association with Epstein though the president denied them and instead suggested that former president Bill Clinton visited Epstein’s infamous island 28 times.
