New Delhi: Levi Strauss & Co. has named Hiren Gor as Managing Director for South Asia, Middle East and Africa (SAMEA), effective immediately, the company said in a press release on Friday.

Gor, who has been with the company for 16 years, was previously General Manager for South Asia, where he led retail fleet transformation, implemented the iconic store strategy, expanded digital and omnichannel operations, and strengthened teams in competitive apparel markets.

In his new position, Gor will oversee operations across South Asia, the Middle East and Sub-Saharan Africa as the company expands in emerging markets.
