New Delhi: Casio India, a subsidiary of Japan-based Casio Computer Co. Ltd., has commenced sales of 28 watch models manufactured in India, the company said in a press release on Tuesday.
According to the company, it will help them to strengthen its presence in the market and align with national manufacturing initiatives.
“This move allows us to be more agile in responding to consumer needs, while also ensuring that the watches we offer are more aligned with local tastes and expectations. Local manufacturing is not just a strategic step, it’s a consumer-first approach that reflects our deep commitment to the Indian market,” said Takuto Kimura, Managing Director, Casio India.
The company said production in India combines its Japanese technology with domestic manufacturing capabilities, with sales starting in late July.
