Abu Dhabi residents and visitors can enjoy hassle free travel as the city announces free parking and Darb tolls for three days, starting Sunday. This initiative comes in celebration of the UAE National Day, making it easier for people to join in the festivities across the capital. Starting Sunday, November 30, all parking zones in Abu Dhabi will be free of charge for three consecutive days. Drivers will not need to pay any parking fees during this period. In addition, Darb tolls, the electronic road toll system in the emirate, will also be suspended, allowing motorists to move freely without any charges.Normal parking fees and tolls are scheduled to resume on Wednesday, December 3, so drivers should plan accordingly. This temporary relief is aimed at making travel and celebrations across the city smoother during the National Day period. The UAE National Day, celebrated annually on December 2, marks the union of the seven emirates and the founding of the country in 1971. It is a day of national pride, with festivities ranging from parades and cultural shows to public events across Abu Dhabi and the rest of the UAE. By offering free parking and tolls, Abu Dhabi encourages residents and visitors to join in the celebrations, visit landmarks, and take part in the national spirit of unity and joy.
