Doctor Linked To ISIS-Khorasan Held For Plotting Ricin Mass Attack Across Major Indian Cities
A Hyderabad doctor has been unmasked as the mastermind of an ISIS-Khorasan-backed ricin terror plot. Gujarat ATS arrested Dr. Ahmed Mohiyuddin Saiyed with Pakistan-supplied arms and 4 kg of ricin-making material. Investigators revealed he was in touch with Abu Khadija, an Afghanistan-based IS operative, and planned coordinated poison attacks in multiple Indian cities. Two aides from Uttar Pradesh were also nabbed. The doctor had been scouting potential targets in Delhi and Ahmedabad. Ricin, derived from castor beans, is so lethal that even a few grains can kill, and no antidote exists. ATS sources confirmed the weapons were drone-delivered from across the Pakistan border.
