Bollywood’s first family, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, husband Abhishek Bachchan, and daughter Aaradhya had all eyes on them as they touched down at the Mumbai airport early Sunday morning.

The Bachchan trio made the paparazzi click-happy as they made a glamorous appearance, dressed in comfortable yet chic travel wear paired with overcoats. Interestingly, going by the viral videos online, they made their way out of the airport by personally wheeling their own luggage.Once outside the terminal, their security team stepped in to take charge of the bags. Abhishek, charmed onlookers with his gentlemanly gestures that included warmly thanking the airport staff for their assistance and even shaking hands before passing over his luggage. Aishwarya, meanwhile, chose to handle her own bags as she headed towards the waiting car.
Aaradhya Steals The Spotlight
It was Aaradhya who stole the spotlight, radiating with joy as she greeted the paparazzi with a bright smile. Proving why she is called her mommy’s “mini-me”, the 12-year-old perfectly twinned with Aishwarya in an all-black tracksuit, sneakers, and a matching black cap. Adding to the likeness, both mother and daughter sported similar hairstyles that saw them rocking wild curls, making for a picture-perfect airport moment.
Abhishek Gets Protective of Ash and Aaradhya
Amidst the media frenzy at the airport, Abhishek was seen playing the role of protective husband and father. The actor was seen opening the car door and helping his wife and daughter to take their seats, before moving to his own seat. This spotting marked another rare family outing for the Bachchan trio, who were subjected to intense media scrutiny all year long, over rumours of trouble in paradise, despite several denials from the couple.
On The Work Front
It has been a busy few months for Abhishek, who has been juggling his time between film sets. He is currently shooting for the Shah Rukh Khan-led action film ‘King’, which will see him playing the antagonist. The movie is also set to star Suhana Khan, with special appearances from Rani Mukerji and Deepika Padukone, among many others.
