Donald Trump’s counselor Alina Habba was almost in tears as she recounted her long association with Kash Patel, the new FBI director. In her speech that she delivered after Kash Patel’s swearing-in in the new post, Alina Habba said, “I am not allowed to cry, I’m supposed to be a tough chick.”
40-year-old Alina Habba said she never shared this story before and that she considers Kash as his brother. “We always say we’re brother and sister. We have gone through a lot together; in fact, we went to a grand jury and one of the pictures they put up was me and Kash and I just started laughing hysterically and so did he. And I remember saying, ‘You’re right, that’s my friend.’ You have a problem with it? The reality of the situation is, when I started here and I started in this world, I did not know anything about it. Kash had my back. I could cry, but… I’m so proud of you.”
“When I started working for President Trump, he told me, ‘I want to make things right.’ There were no indictments yet, I thought I was just going to be a normal lawyer. I was like, ‘Sure, I’ll do it, no problem. Sir, I’m not getting involved in politics.'”
“Next thing I know, I see Hillary Clinton and this guy had my back, taught me so much about what we are about to change. He told me what the swamp was, he taught me about the case, he told me what he saw, and that was the minute I became committed to America, to President Trump, and to Kash Patel.”
“And I would not be here if it was not for this person. And that’s the real history. And I have never said that. President Trump and Kash Patel have been my warriors. They have been pushing me to fight for this country and now I am so proud to be in this administration with you as the head of the FBI.”
