He calls Manoj Bajpayee ‘another Anil Kapoor ’
Talking to News18 about the video, Anurag shared, “Jaideep, Vijay, Viineet (Kumar Siingh), and I met each other suddenly after a long time. And we touched Manoj’s feet (laughs). He’s unstoppable. He just goes on and on with his films. Inspector Zende was released recently, and then Jugnuma came. Kaise kar leta hai yeh aadmi (how does this man do this)! He’s older but ten times fitter than me. He’s like another Anil Kapoor. That’s why hum unke pair padh gaye the (laughs)! He’s a legend.”
The playful moment that went viral
At the Jugnuma premiere, a playful moment between Manoj Bajpayee, Anurag Kashyap, Jaideep Ahlawat, and Vijay Varma had fans laughing. The viral clip shows Manoj on stage as the trio came to greet him. Vijay hugged him first, followed by Jaideep, who cheekily touched Manoj’s feet, leaving the actor in splits. Anurag and Vijay then joined in—Vijay holding onto one of Manoj’s legs while Anurag bowed, almost touching his head to his feet.
