New Delhi: Arvind Fashions Ltd (AFL) has appointed Amisha Jain as its new managing director and chief executive officer, effective August 13, as part of a planned leadership transition.

She will take over from Shailesh Chaturvedi, who will work with her to ensure smooth transition.

Jain joins from Levi Strauss & Co., where she was managing director and SVP for South Asia, Middle East, Africa, and Eastern Europe. She brings over two decades of experience across the technology, consumer and retail sectors, having previously worked with Zivame, Arvind Group, Nike India, McKinsey & Co., and Motorola Inc.

Chaturvedi was appointed to the role in February 2021. Prior to that, he was managing director and CEO at PVH-Arvind Brands and led the Arrow brand under AFL.

“As AFL prepares to launch itself into the next orbit of growth, we are delighted to welcome Amisha back to AFL,” said Kulin Lalbhai, vice chairman and non-executive director.

AFL reported revenue of Rs 4,620 crore for FY25, an increase of 8.5 per cent over the previous year. Net profit rose 71 per cent year-on-year to Rs 85 crore. The company’s portfolio includes U.S. Polo Assn., Arrow, Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein, and Flying Machine. It has previously exited brands such as Gap and Sephora.
