Asian Footwears has launched AsianGPT, a proprietary artificial intelligence engine developed in-house to improve distribution efficiency and drive revenue growth across its dealer network, the company said in a media release on Tuesday.

The company said early adoption of the tool has helped several dealers increase revenues by 25–30 per cent, driven by better product selection, faster inventory turnover and improved working capital cycles.

AsianGPT analyses more than 20 years of sales data to forecast demand by product, location and quantity, enabling distributors to align inventory with local preferences and reduce slow-moving stock. The system tracks patterns across categories, designs, colours, gender-wise demand and regional trends, offering demand visibility at a granular level.

The AI engine is also being used to strengthen Asian Footwears’ supply chain by improving production planning and inventory allocation, allowing the company to respond faster to shifting market demand.

Aayush Jindal, CEO of Asian Footwears, said the AI-led approach would help distributors and retailers plan better while ensuring higher product availability. He added that the launch coincides with the company’s plans to invest over ₹100 crore in expanding manufacturing capacity and strengthening its retail presence.

AsianGPT forms part of Asian Footwears’ broader digital transformation strategy, which includes scaling its retail footprint, enhancing manufacturing capabilities and increasing technology-led operational efficiencies.
