New Delhi: Bestseller India, on Monday, has announced with profound sadness the passing of its chief operating officer, Mrithyunjay Amblimath, who had been a cornerstone of the company for over 14 years.
Amblimath joined Bestseller India in a senior leadership role and became Head of Sales, playing a critical part in establishing and executing the company’s market strategy across India.
In late 2024, he was appointed interim leader of Bestseller India following the departure of former CEO Vineet Gautam, showcasing the trust placed in his leadership and strategic vision.
As COO, Amblimath oversaw Bestseller’s retail operations, including significant expansion initiatives like the opening of the Vero Moda outlet at DLF Promenade in Delhi.
