Bihar Assembly Election 2025 News Live Updates: As the election fever is raging across Bihar, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Karpoorigram in Samastipur district, the birthplace of Karpoori Thakur on Friday.
After meeting Thakur’s family, he will address a massive public rally at the Samastipur airport ground, marking his first Bihar campaign event since the election dates were announced.
Earlier this month, PM Modi inaugurated the Karpoori Thakur Skill University virtually. He said that “no social media team made Karpoori Thakur a Jan Nayak—the people of Bihar did,” urging citizens to “stay alert” against those trying to “appropriate” that honour.
Meanwhile, the grand Mahagathbandhan alliance on Thursday declared RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav as the chief ministerial face.
The 2025 Bihar elections will be a tough contest between the National Democratic Alliance and the Mahagathbandhan.
