New Delhi: Experiential retail startup Broadway India has appointed Sankalp Kathuria as Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer to drive its next phase of growth and expansion, it announced in media release on Monday.
Kathuria, an alumnus of Kellogg School of Management and BITS Pilani, was previously Senior Vice President at Zomato where he led the dining business across India and the UAE. He has also worked with Bain & Company.
He takes over leadership as Vivek Biyani transitions to the role of Investor and Chairman of the Board.
“I’m excited to bring my learnings from building online businesses into the world of physical retail — creating spaces where consumers discover, connect, and fall in love with new-age brands,” Kathuria said.
Broadway, which operates flagship outlets in Delhi and Hyderabad, plans to expand to Pune and Mumbai with its tech-enabled retail format that houses digital-first brands in immersive offline spaces.
