New Delhi: Charles & Keith plans to open 6-7 new stores across India this year, stepping up expansion in the aspirational accessories segment, as it launched its 24th outlet at Unity One, Elegante Mall in Delhi-NCR, the company told ETRetail.
The 103 square metre store is the brand’s seventh in the NCR region and follows its sixth-generation global retail concept.
The expansion comes amid heightened activity in India’s premium fashion and accessories space. Brands such as Michael Kors, Aldo and Coach have been strengthening their India presence through new store openings and franchise-led growth, targeting affluent urban consumers and high-traffic malls.
With rising premiumisation in fashion retail and stronger mall-led consumption in metros, Charles & Keith’s planned additions signal continued confidence in India’s discretionary demand, particularly in handbags, footwear and accessories.
