Kerala-headquartered direct-to-consumer (D2C) fashion and lifestyle brand MyDesignation has raised Rs 40 crore in series A funding in a round led by RPSG Capital Ventures, with participation from existing investors Veltis Capital, Multiply Ventures, and Dominor Investments.

Founded in 2020 by husband-wife duo Swaroop Krishnan and Gopika B Raj, the company had previously secured $1.25 million in a seed funding round in February 2025.

MyDesignation states that it has catered to more than one million customers nationwide and claims that it has witnessed high repeat purchase rates.

“We are planning to deploy this funding into three key areas: increasing our offline presence, hiring senior talent across marketing, finance, and supply, and launching a mobile application,” said Swaroop Krishnan, cofounder and CEO.

The startup claims it is not dependent on external intellectual property, meaning none of its designs are outsourced. All designs are created in-house.

“We are planning to expand cluster-wise so that we have the creative freedom to understand each culture and design products tailored for them, rather than offering generic pan-India designs. Currently, we are present across most of South India and Maharashtra,” Krishnan added.

MyDesignation says it follows a digital-first approach and is expanding its offline footprint in major cities such as Bengaluru, Kochi, Thiruvananthapuram, and Kozhikode.

“We are aiming to reach Rs 100–150 crore in annual recurring revenue over the next 12 months,” said Krishnan.
