Dec 22 index rejig: ITC Hotels, Reliance Power among 32 fresh additions to BSE 500. Check changes in SME, others – Delhi News Daily

BSE Index Services has announced a major overhaul of the BSE 500 index where 32 new stocks will be added replacing as many scrips. The changes will become effective December 22 and are part of the semi-annual reconstitution based on the stocks’ market capitalisation, free-float and liquidity, among other things.

BSE announced the reconstitution results on Friday. In all, the changes have been made in 28 BSE indices while no changes have been made to BSE CPSE, BSE Auto, and BSE Metal indices.

BSE 500 additions

In the BSE 500 index, 32 new stocks will be added, viz.: GE Vernova TD India, Hexaware Technologies, ITC Hotels, Aegis Vopak Terminals, Onesource, Specialty Pharma, Reliance Power, Force Motors, Aditya Birla Lifestyle Brands, NAVA, ACME Solar Holdings, Ather Energy, Niva Bupa Health Insurance Company, LT Foods and Choice International.Others include Transformers and Rectifiers (India), Paradeep Phosphates, Godawari Power & Ispat, Leela Palaces Hotels & Resorts, Gallantt Ispat, Gabriel India, Netweb Technologies India, Embassy Developments, Dr. Agarwal’s Health Care, Indegene

Elecon Engineering Co, Blue Jet Healthcare, Allied Blenders and Distillers, Cemindia Projects, Gravita India, Syrma SGS Technology, Jaiprakash Power Ventures and RailTel Corporation of India.

BSE 500 outgoing stocks


The stocks to be dropped from the index include KNR Constructions, ITI, Punjab & Sind Bank (PSB), Ventive Hospitality, MMTC, Metro Brands, JSW Holdings, KIOCL, Sundram Fasteners, Hatsun Agro Products, Kansai Nerolac Paints, Vinati Organics, Grindwell Norton, Ratnamani Metals & Tubes, LMW, Century Plyboards (India), CIE Automotive India, Supreme Petrochem, Sanofi India, Ingersoll-Rand (India), G R Infraprojects, Tata Teleservices (Maharashtra), Westlife Foodworld, SKF India, Procter & Gamble Health and Star Cement.The others are SRF Polymers, TTK Prestige, Varroc Engineering, Galaxy Surfactants, Garware Technical Fibres and ESAB India are other notable exclusions.

BSE Sensex 50 TMC


In news for all the wrong reasons, InterGlobe Aviation will also be a part of the BSE Sensex 50 TMC (total market capitalisation) even as it has made a cut to the prestigious BSE Sensex. It will replace Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles (TMPV) which has plunged over 50% in the past one year.

BSE SME IPO


Five stocks that will exit the BSE SME IPO index are Rajesh Power Services, Nisus Finance Services Co, Toss The Coin, Jungle Camps India and Yash Highvoltage. There will be no additions.

BSE Smallcap


There are no inclusions in the BSE Smallcap index, and 5 stocks will leave it — Shri Jagdamba Polymers, Dolphin Offshore Enterprises (India), Hampton Sky Realty, Raj Rayon Industries and Suratwwala Business Group.
