Did an Indian-origin couple rent their home to Texas murder accused Karmelo Anthony?
Karmelo Anthony, the accused killer of 17-year-old Austin Metcalf, has moved to a new neighborhood after his release on bond.

The names of an Indian couple have been linked to the high-stakes Texas stabbing incident after murder accused Karmelo Anthony, who stabbed 17-year-old Austin Metcalf, moved to a new address after getting bail on bond citing security reasons. According to social media claims, the property where they moved to belongs to an Indian couple Mereddy Sandeep and Manasa Kuchikulla. While the claim is not verified, their photos are doing the rounds on social media as the case took a racial and political tone.
Karmelo Anthony and Austin Metcalf did not know each other and they met for the first time at a track meet. Austin Metcalf and his twin brother told Anthony that he was sitting at the wrong place, which led to an altercation and Anthony took out a knife from his backpack and stabbed Metcalf. He was arrested and he told the cops that his action was in self-defense as Metcalf raised his hands on him and pushed him.

Anthony walked out of jail after a judge ruled to lower his bond from $1 million to $250,000, triggering a major controversy. Anthony received massive support in the form of donations, predominantly from the black community. Anthony’s father told the court that they are not using the fund money to pay the bond, as the fund money will be used later for his legal defense.

Family moves to new address, buys car; flooded with deliveries from Amazon

Daily Mail reported that Karmelo and his family moved to a $900,000 home in a gated community “Richwoods” in Frisco where he will have to remain in house arrest with an ankle monitor on. The rent is $3,500 per month, according to Zillow. Daily Mail reported that when they visited the house, they were told by the neighbors that the Anthonys had purchased a new car. Throughout the day, Daily Mail reported, Amazon deliveries arrived at the home.
‘Richwoods,’ as the exclusive community is called, is located within walking distance of Centennial High School, where Anthony ran track and was the captain of the football team before his arrest.
