The 19th edition of the Dubai Airshow is officially open for registration and is set to take place from 17th to 21st November 2025 at Dubai World Central. Promising to be the most ambitious edition yet, the show will focus on connectivity, innovation, and cross-sector collaboration, in line with the UAE’s evolving vision for the aviation and defence sectors. Attendees can look forward to an exciting five-day event packed with spectacular aerial displays, hands-on exhibits, and a vibrant celebration of the aviation industry. With over 1,500 exhibitors and more than 148,000 professionals and innovators from 98 countries, the event offers a valuable platform for meaningful business connections, exploring new technologies, and fostering industry partnerships. It remains a key meeting place where major players come together to shape the future of aviation.

A Sector on the Rise: $92 Billion Contribution to UAE GDP

According to the International Air Transport Association (IATA), the aviation sector currently contributes US$92 billion to the UAE’s GDP , equivalent to 18.2% of the nation’s total. The Middle East’s commercial aircraft fleet is also projected to grow at an annual rate of 5.1% over the next decade, underlining the importance of platforms like the Dubai Airshow in shaping the region’s aerospace future. The Dubai Airshow continues to maintain its position as one of the largest and most influential global aviation events, attracting leading decision-makers, government delegations, industry innovators, and technology pioneers. The event offers a strategic platform for stakeholders to engage in dialogue, network, and secure a front-row seat to the industry’s next era of transformation.

Exclusive Military & Networking Features: SkyDive Dubai Event and Night Programming

Major General Dr. Mubarak Saeed bin Ghafan Al Jabri, Executive Director of the Military Committee organising Dubai Airshow, highlighted the UAE’s rising prominence in both aviation and defence, according to remarks reported by the UAE’s official news agency, WAM.“With the industry evolving rapidly, the Ministry of Defence remains committed to advancing innovation and building the capabilities that will define the future of the military sector. Supporting and empowering the next generation of talent is central to this vision, ensuring the UAE remains at the forefront of global progress,” he said. For the first time ever, this edition will introduce a runway networking event at SkyDive Dubai, gathering elite figures from across the aviation world. This one-of-a-kind setting will blend informal networking with high-end entertainment including:

  • Drone shows
  • Skydiving performances
  • Renowned DJs
  • Premium hospitality services

This exclusive gathering is expected to be a highlight of Dubai Airshow week, offering a fresh take on business networking. Another new addition to the show will be night-time programming on the second day of the event, extending activities until 21:00. Attendees will have extra time to experience:

  • The static aircraft display
  • Evening receptions
  • Drone light shows under the stars

These features reflect the Airshow’s commitment to continuously evolve and provide more immersive experiences for its global audience.

Sustainability, Innovation & Talent Development Take Center Stage

As the aviation industry increasingly pivots toward greener technologies, sustainability will be a major theme throughout Dubai Airshow 2025. Organisers are focusing on solutions that support a more efficient and environmentally conscious aviation ecosystem. Returning to the event are signature initiatives and new learning platforms:

  • VISTA: A hub for start-ups in aviation and space innovation
  • NextGen Leaders Programme: Supporting the growth of emerging industry talent
  • The Academy: A newly launched platform to equip young professionals with future-ready skills and mentorship

These initiatives underscore the event’s expanding efforts to support education, innovation, and the development of future aviation leaders.“Dubai Airshow has always been centred on driving the aviation and defence sectors forward,” said Timothy Hawes, Managing Director of Informa Markets, the event’s organiser. “The 2025 edition will be the most comprehensive and future-focused to date, bringing global industry players together through purposeful and unprecedented events that create more room for networking, showcasing pioneering technologies, and supporting the region’s ambitious growth strategies.” He also stressed the importance of engaging youth, noting that the show continues to introduce new initiatives aimed at inspiring the next generation through access, education, and real-world opportunities.

Enhanced Executive & Public Engagement

To deepen sectoral collaboration and strategic insight, the Aerospace Executive Club will return to host senior industry leaders in high-level discussions on trends, partnerships, and market opportunities. The show will also feature one of the most comprehensive delegation programmes in the industry, co-hosted by the UAE Ministry of Defence, Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, and the Government of Dubai. To streamline networking and engagement, an AI-powered B2B matchmaking system will be integrated into the official Dubai Airshow app, allowing attendees to connect more efficiently. For the general public, Skyview, the only platform of its kind in the UAE , will open access to the event, with over 15,000 visitors expected across five days. Visitors can look forward to:

  • Live flying displays
  • Interactive experiences
  • Family-friendly entertainment
