In the 22-second video, posted on the r/LivestreamFail subreddit, the Twitch streamer said she drove to Kansas by herself because she had been “recommended not to fly alone anymore.” Emiru shared that she did not want to bring down the mood, but she explained that she chose to drive after getting that advice.The clip quickly went viral because she did not explain who gave her this warning or why she received it. Emiru told viewers she went to Kansas to visit her parents, but the line about not flying alone made many people online curious and worried. Soon, hundreds of Reddit users began sharing questions and theories about the situation.

Emiru’s statement sparks confusion as fans ask why flying alone is unsafe

On the subreddit, fans tried to understand what Emiru meant. Some asked if it was related to stalkers. One user wrote, “I don’t get it. If she’s doing it because of stalkers, wouldn’t it be easier for them to follow her car?”.Another user added, “There’s more security in airports than on the road, so how is driving safer?” Comments continued to pour in as people tried to figure out what danger she was avoiding.Some suggested she might need personal security. One user said, “She probably needs a guard if she’s out alone. That’s just celebrity life.” Others wondered if the warning was tied to something health-related. The lack of details from Emiru left the community guessing.The clip came just one day after Emiru spoke about another serious moment. On November 12, 2025, she said during her stream that Twitch had agreed to donate $100,000 to a violence-prevention charity. She explained that this donation was part of a list of changes she asked the platform to make after she was assaulted at TwitchCon 2025 in San Diego, California.Emiru said she asked Twitch for several things following the incident, and the company agreed to the donation. She said the money will support a charity focused on helping people stay safe.
