Viral Video: Stage Crashes During UP Wedding As BJP Leaders Gather To Greet Bride & Groom
Chaos broke out at a wedding in Ballia district, Uttar Pradesh, when the stage set up for the bride and groom suddenly collapsed during the reception. The incident happened late Wednesday evening at the Ramleela Ground while several VIP guests, including BJP district chief Sanjay Mishra and former MP Bharat Singh, were blessing the newly-wed couple. The dais, reportedly built without proper support, had a plywood base covered with carpet on which the couple’s sofa was placed. When around 12–14 guests stepped onto the platform for photographs, the structure caved in, causing the bride, groom, and guests to fall. Mishra stated that, fortunately, no one was injured. A video of the collapse spread rapidly across social media.
