'Final Destination Bloodlines' box office collection Day 3: Horror thriller surges past Rs 15 crore mark in India despite competition from Tom Cruise's 'Mission: Impossible'

Final Destination Bloodlines continues to hold strong at the Indian box office, registering its best single-day performance so far on Saturday. According to early estimates from Sacnilk.com, the horror thriller earned approximately Rs 6.1 crore on Day 3, marking a 14.02% jump from the previous day.The English version led Saturday’s collection with a solid Rs 4 crore, while the Hindi dubbed version contributed Rs 1.6 crore. Tamil and Telugu versions maintained a steady presence, together adding Rs 50 lakh to the day’s total. It must be noted that the film managed to hit this mark, despite facing some stiff competition from the newly released action movie, Tom Cruise‘s Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning which hauled in an estimated Rs 17.50 crore collection on its opening day. The Adam Stein and Zach Lipovsky directorial, on the other hand, had a promising start on Thursday, opening with Rs 4.5 crore. The English version accounted for Rs 2.5 crore of the Day 1 total, followed by Rs 1.5 crore from the Hindi version and Rs 50 lakh combined from the southern releases. On Friday, the momentum held firm, albeit with modest growth. The English version collected Rs 3.25 crore, while the Hindi version added another Rs 1.6 crore. However, the Tamil and Telugu markets dipped slightly, earning a combined Rs 45 lakh. The film’s positive word of mouth and brand value from the long-standing franchise are clearly driving audience turnout, particularly in urban multiplexes.Despite stiff competition from Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning and local releases, Bloodlines is carving out its space with a strong horror fanbase. The coming days will be critical in determining whether it can maintain this pace and cross the Rs 30 crore mark in the week ahead.
