The famed comedy star recently took to his social media account in order to share a few photos and videos. Revisiting his journey over the past 10 years, Gera revealed that he and Ranveer Singh once made a skit video, which had gone viral online.In his post, he shared throwback videos from his days as a Vine artist, where he transformed into his iconic character Chutki, who walked into a store to ask the shopkeeper for inner garments. He wrote in the caption, “Hum pehle bhi mile hai… Hamza,” later adding another throwback video of the same skit. Only this time, while Gera was dressed as Chutki, it was Ranveer Singh with a wig and a notepad in his hand who played and recited the dialogues of the clueless shopkeeper. He further wrote, “Phir thoda twist aaya – Kuch mahine baad 2015 Mai ..Wahi scene, wahi dialogues.. bas is baar Chutki ko Shopkeeper ki jagah mile RS. Chaddi Nahi mili , Reel bani, woh bhi udi. #ChutkiRanveerSingh.”

The actor shared another clip from his appearance in the hit film ‘Dhurandhar’ at the Aalam Juice Centre. He wrote, “Cut to 2025. Das saal baad , Dhar Saab @adityadharfilms ne Aalam juice Centre pe @ranveersingh ko bheja .. aur RS ne poocha “Yahan Koi , kaam milega?” #Dhurandhar.”He then concluded the post talking about his experience working on the film, and how even after the full beard and all of the makeup, Ranveer Singh was able to recognise him in an instant.“Ps – I had grown full beard and we all were sitting for the mind blowing narration , was long narration ( now we all know ) .. in the washroom break , I was sitting and RS comes from behind my chair and says .. ” Chutki washroom jayegi ? ” I was like Leh .. meri itni Dadhi waste ho gayi… That is Him , Sadda Hamza The warm , friendly Superstar,” Gera revealed.
