A former assistant of Sean “Diddy” Combs alleged that the music mogul forced him to engage in sexual activity to prove his loyalty.
Phillip Pines, who claims to have worked as Combs’ senior executive assistant from 2019 to 2021, spoke about the alleged incident in a pre-recorded interview with journalist Mara S Camposet after the final episode of ‘The Fall of Diddy’ documentary, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Pines said the incident took place at one of Combs’ parties, where he was allegedly encouraged to drink alcohol before being approached by Combs.
“I remember hearing the words: ‘Prove your loyalty to me,’” Pines said.
“He grabbed me by the shoulders, kind of gave me a quick massage, like a coach would give a player that’s about to enter the game, and handed me a condom, pushed me to a girl that was on the couch, a guest,” Pines said during the interview.
Pines described feeling frozen and confused before the alleged incident. “I froze before it took place, I didn’t know what was happening. In the moment it felt like, what, is this fun for him? Is this a test for entertainment, does he know he’s doing this? Is he that gone?” Pines said.
“I didn’t know what to do,” he added.
Pines further said the woman Diddy allegedly wanted him to engage with consented with a nod.
He explained that he agreed to the encounter because he had witnessed Diddy allegedly assaulting employees who opposed him. “I saw how angry he could get from the simplest thing. I thought to myself if I don’t do this I don’t know what’s going to happen,” he claimed.
“He got me. It was a circus. He did whatever he wanted, and we were just at his disposal. He’s a predator,” Pines claimed.
“I mean that in a sexually charged way, in a manipulation way. He has an innate ability to make you feel comfortable and to make you do things for him that you would never do.”
Pines said he was not present at Combs’ alleged “freak-off” parties, which are expected to be mentioned in the rapper’s upcoming trial. Combs is facing charges of sex trafficking, racketeering, and forced prostitution.
However, Pines claimed he was responsible for providing items for events known as “Wild King Nights,” which allegedly took place in hotel rooms with young women.
“We usually had a laundry list of items that included lights, alcohol, marijuana, ketamine, Molly,” Pines said.
“You have mushrooms on the top there … baby oil and AstroGlide [lubricant] are very important; candles, incense, Apple TVs, electronics, computers, iPads. Obviously, there was, you know, male libido supplements, stuff like that.”
Pines also claimed that Combs’ parties often involved women who had little public influence.
“A lot of times, there were girls that were under the radar, didn’t have a lot of influence. I think that speaks to the type of situations people were put in,” he said.
“A lot of times, you have [Combs] with a young female, and there’s a power dynamic there. A more impressionable girl is easier to reel in, as opposed to somebody who might be a celebrity who’s not going to do too much of that, or give some pushback.”
In December 2024, Pines filed a lawsuit against Combs, accusing him of sexual battery, sexual harassment, and sex trafficking, among other claims.
Diddy, who is currently held in a Brooklyn jail awaiting trial on sex trafficking and racketeering charges, is also facing lawsuits from Pines and other accusers. The rapper has pleaded not guilty to all charges and denies Pines’ claims.
