US President Donald Trump had to address a question on Jeffrey Epstein even in Scotland as he was asked to explain what led to the rift between him and Epstein, who once used to be a regular at Trump’s Florida club. Trump said it was very easy to explain as Epstein used to steal people who worked for Trump. “That’s such old history, very easy to explain, but I don’t want to waste your time by explaining it,” Trump said before starting to explain. “But for years, I wouldn’t talk to Jeffrey Epstein. I wouldn’t talk because he did something that was inappropriate,” the president said.“He hired help, and I said, ‘Don’t ever do that again.’ He stole people that work for me. I said, ‘Don’t ever do that again.’ He did it again,” Trump said.Epstein then became “persona non grata,” Trump said.“I threw him out, and that was it. I’m glad I did, if you want to know the truth,” he said adding that he turned down Epstein’s invitation to visit the island. What Trump explained was exactly the modus operandi of Epstein and his girlfriend Ghislaine Maxwell to run their sex trafficking ring. Virginia Giuffre, who died earlier this year, claimed to have been recruited from Trump’s Mar-a-Lago by Epstein. Trump has spoken a lot about Epstein in the past few days as explosive reports claimed that he was very close with the pedophoile and wrote objectionable letters to him on his birthday. Trump denied the allegations and claimed former president Bill Clinton visited Epstein island 28 times.It is known that Trump and Epstein had a fallout but earlier it was attributed to a realty project — Trump outbid Epstein for a French Regency-style estate in Palm Beach. A White House spokesman last week said Trump expelled Epstein from Mar-a-Lago for “being a creep.”
