Emma Watson, famously known for her role as Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter series, has been banned from driving for six months after being caught speeding at 38mph in a 30mph zone in Oxford back in July 2024. Already carrying 9 penalty points on her license, the actress was fined £1,044 by the High Wycombe Magistrates’ Court. While Watson didn’t attend the hearing, her legal team confirmed she would pay the penalty. Since stepping away from the spotlight, Emma has focused on higher education at Oxford and co-founded a sustainable gin brand with her brother in 2023. Despite maintaining a low profile, she made a stunning red carpet comeback at Cannes in May 2025, her first in 12 years.
