‘NDA Coming To Power With Thumping Majority’: Bihar Minister Sanjay Saraogi On Assembly Polls

Bihar’s Revenue and Land Reforms Minister Sanjay Saraogi, BJP leader and five-time MLA from Darbhanga, spoke exclusively to TOI ahead of the Assembly elections. He highlighted new health infrastructure and connectivity projects in Darbhanga and praised the National Makhana Board for supporting Bihar farmers. Saraogi asserted that caste and community politics has ended in Bihar, with widespread support for the NDA. He said the opposition faces difficulty even winning a single seat in the Mithila region, calling Prashant Kishor’s Jan Suraaaj party irrelevant. Addressing recent controversies, he noted that people offended by remarks against PM Modi’s late mother will respond through ballots. Confident about the outcome, Saraogi predicted a thumping NDA victory under Nitish Kumar’s leadership, whose health he described as “absolutely fine.”
