As family members turned against RFK Jr ahead of his Senate confirmation hearing today, Republicans slammed a resurfaced video of Jack Schlossberg, JFK’s grandson, in which Schlossberg was mocking Kennedy Jr’s tremulous voice which is a medical condition. The video was posted a few days ago but as Schlossberg’s mother Caroline Kennedy made a last-minute effort to block Kennedy Jr’s confirmation by the Senate calling him a ‘predator’ and digging up their childhood incidents, the Kennedy family came under the attack of the Republicans.
Republican commentator Charlie Kirk said had it not been for RFK Jr, the Kennedy legacy would be completely dead. “The Kennedys were a great American family who faced a choice – they could continue their legacy as statesmen, or they could devolve into useless trust fund babies good for nothing but tabloid fodder. Most chose the latter.”
“RFK Jr. chose differently. If it weren’t for him, the Kennedy legacy would be completely dead. So it’s fitting that his family has turned on the last true Kennedy and are attempting to destroy him. With each new attack, he continues to respond with grace and kindness,” Kirk said.
“Family members attacking their own family says more about them than RFK Jr,” another wrote.
In the viral video, Schlossberg imitated RFK’s voice and said: “Hey everybody, I’m trying to figure out the right present to get Donald Trump for the inauguration.”
“I found a really rare animal and killed it, and I’m gonna give it to him,” he added, holding up an octopus plushie.
RFK Jr suffers from spasmodic dysphonia, a disorder causing involuntary spasms in the voice box muscles.
RFK Jr admitted being polygamous in unearthed bombshell audio recordings
Mother Jones magazine reported that RFK Jr told his second wife Mary Richardson Kennedy that he had cheated on her with dozens of women but it was her fault. “I want to be in a monogamous relationship. I don’t want to be in a polygamous relationship. I think that’s wrong,” he told her in a June 2011 recording, which was reported by the magazine hours before RFK Jr’s senate hearing.
