Jeffrey Epstein’s brother has accused top Republicans of trying to remove their names from upcoming disclosures on the late pedophile and sex trafficker, warning that the so-called Epstein files are being “sabotaged” before they reach the public.Mark Epstein said he was alerted by a “pretty good source” that GOP figures were working behind the scenes to clean out sensitive material before Congress moves ahead with the release. He did not say whether Donald Trump was part of the documents.“I’ve been recently told, the reason they’re going to be releasing the files and the reason for the flip is that they’re sabotaging these files,” he told NewsNation. He added that Republicans are “scrubbing the files to take Republican names out.”He claimed the work is happening inside a “facility” in Winchester, Virginia. The accusations come as Trump’s public stance on the files took a sudden U-turn. After months of urging Americans to forget his long association with Epstein and leaning on Republican allies to block the release, the US president is now telling Congress to go ahead. His shift came only after it became clear he no longer had the votes to stop the disclosure of the infamous files.Yet Mark Epstein questioned Trump’s sincerity, saying the president has avoided using his executive authority to release the documents himself. “Trump has denied knowing anything about Epstein and his right-hand woman, Ghislaine Maxwell’s crimes and that he did not send any of the emails that surfaced in recent releases. Epstein’s brother insists that his sibling held damaging information about Trump.According to the emails released by Democrats last week, Mark said Jeffrey told him in 2016 that he possessed intel serious enough to “cancel the election.” He added, “He told me he had it. He would not tell me that if it wasn’t true.”In another email, Jeffrey Epstein said Trump “knew about the girls”, most of them being underage, according to the case of the disgraced financier.Mark Epstein further accused the FBI, now led by MAGA loyalists, of covering up the circumstances of his brother’s 2019 death, which was ruled a suicide. Conspiracy theories and rumours online have long claimed that Epstein was killed because of the information he allegedly held and could have disclosed against powerful figures. So, Mark “laughed” when he heard about the testimony on Jeffrey’s deathReferring to FBI Director Kash Patel, Mark Epstein said, “Absolutely, he said he was the one who said in his testimony, you know the suicide when you see one, I had a laugh. How many suicides has that Jack–s seen? OK? He’s not a doctor, he’s not a pathologist. He never saw Jeffrey’s body. He wasn’t there.”Furthermore, Bill Clinton was also pulled back into the scandal after the release of the 2018 “Bubba” email, which went viral this week. The message showed Mark asking Jeffrey about “Bubba,” which is a nickname referring to the former president. Mark Epstein later clarified that “Bubba” was not Bill Clinton.
