I got lost in outsider nepotism. I got lost in outsider nepotism.”He further said,“My thoughts are the same that we both actually completed the film and it’s finally releasing and we really discussed this out that this one won’t be released, we could have named it Dostana 2, if it’s a long title. But my thoughts are that I’m really, happy to be back in this genre and after Chandu Champion, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 and all these films, now I’m back in this genre after a while and I’m really looking forward to everybody’s reaction.”

Kartik also spoke about the pressure that comes with romantic films, calling it a difficult genre to crack. He added, “Because this is a very difficult genre to crack and there’s immense pressure whenever such films are released.
