Keshav Maharaj summed up the fourth SA20 season of transition, resilience and narrow margins after his Pretoria Capitals side fell short in the final. Speaking about captaining a new team, Maharaj highlighted the positives of youth, strong middle-order contributions and the growth shown by key players under responsibility. While admitting missed opportunities at the back end with the bat proved costly, he also credited the Sunrisers Eastern Cape for executing better on the day and stressed the need to improve in all facets during knockout games as the team looks ahead to the next season.
