'MAGA is dead': Major split in Republican Party as Trump ditches longtime ally Marjorie Taylor Greene, calls her 'wacky'
Trump cuts longtime ally Marjorie Taylor Greene loose, calling her wacky, lunatic.

After Rep Thomas Massie, President Donald Trump has now targeted his longtime ally Marjorie Taylor Greene as she was insisting on the release of Epstein documents. Trump called her ‘wacky’ and ‘lunatic’ and dumped her, making the MAGA implosion complete. The MAGA movement has lost sight with far-right influencers like Nick Fuentes being given a platform by Tucker Carlson and now it’s floundering with Epstein and H-1B issue.

Trump versus Marjorie Taylor Greene

Greene is known for her controversial remarks often fuelled by unsubstantiated conspiracy theories but her devotion to Donald Trump has been unquestionable. She stood by Trump’s 2020 claims of election fraud; she also supported Trump in the wake of the Epstein controversy and said that she believed Trump has no involvement in Epstein’s sex scandal. But in the recent months, Greene started breaking ranks with Trump inb several key issues. She urged Trump to focus on domestic policies instead of foreign involvement and criticized his tariff fallout, his 50-year mortgage proposal, and his stand on H-1B. Greene even proposed a bill that would phase out H-1B completely while Trump said America needs certain talents from outside and hence America will not stop hiring foreign talents.

Public fallout between Trump and MTG

MTG is not the first Republican that Trump is going after but since she’s a vocal MAGA supporter, her political breakup with Trump signals a point of no return for MAGA. MAGA supporters are divided as Trump announced he would endorse MTG’s rival candidate in 2026.Trump alienated Kentucky Rep Thomas Massie as well, but a woman politician clashing with Trump over an issue that involved a pedophile sends a strong message. While Trump said MTG has been telling people that Trump did not return her calls, Greene claimed that she did not even call Trump. She said she sent messages to Trump and his aide over Epstein issue, where she urged them to stop ignoring women who openly voted for Trump.
